In a new series of shorts directed by @clubcampingtv, IKEA wanted to make young people venturing out for the first time feel at home in a way that speaks authentically to Gen Z. To do so, Hornet Director Clubcamping created an homage to the anime sub-genre “slice of life”, known for its portrayal of the beauty in everyday moments, typically through incredibly soothing scenes of people going about their days. Marrying those principles with IKEA’s own values (making people’s everyday lives better) lays the groundwork for the series.
